This is a healthy male who wished some improvement in his truncal contour. The circumference of his abdomen at the level of the umbilicus is 40.5”. He wanted it around 36”. We carried him to the operating room and did liposuction of his lower abdomen and his flanks. Shown are before and about 2-3 months post op. The biggest change is the large flank collections on either side which are basically gone. His measurement around the circumference of his abdomen at the umbilicus is now 36”. He has gotten a nice result. This deep fat that forms the flank collections once removed will usually not come back.

This is a 45YO lady that desires some liposuction of the waist and some fat grafting of her buttocks. She is flattened in the buttocks and has no shaped to the waist area. As you can see from the posterior view, her waist is now shaped up quite nicely. There is now fullness in her buttocks and a better shape. On the side view you can see how much the buttocks has been filled out with fat grafting. She now fills out her blue jeans and pants. This procedure is done through outpatient.

This is a 38YO lady that has had problems with excessive fat in the flank area. She has tried to lose weight as much as she can. She is quite thin and really does not need to lose any more weight she just has excessive fat in the flank area. She underwent liposuction of the flanks. As you can notice in the pre and post op pictures she has a significant improvement of the shape of the flanks. This will give her a very long lasting result. Even with weight gain she should still maintain the good shape to her flanks.

This is a 50YO lady who had a marked indention from a previous hysterectomy scar. She had a protuberance of the abdomen and a very protuberant mons pubis area. She underwent liposuction of the abdomen and pubic area as well as scar revision. A you can see she had marked indentions preoperatively. Now she is much smoother.

This is a 39YO lady that desires some fat to be removed from her flank area. She has a lot of bulging fat in the flanks. This makes her clothes not fit properly. Her waist is quite high. She desired to have liposuction of the flanks and have the fat placed in the buttocks. I took the fat that was removed from her flanks and filled out the buttocks. She has much more pleasing shape and roundness to the buttocks.

This lady is a breast cancer patient who had bilateral mastectomies and reconstruction with implants. As part of her reconstruction she decided to have some cosmetic liposuction of her flanks. She had a square-shaped buttock from large flank collections. She underwent liposuction of her flanks and fat injections to her buttocks. This has resulted in a more feminine shape with more fullness in the buttock contour and a reduction in the fold on the upper chest. These photographs are 2 months post op. This will continue to improve. In addition to a more pleasing feminine contour, her clothes fit much better and she has much more defined waist.

This is a 40YO lady who desires some shaping of the flanks. She says that her dresses and pants make her look high waisted from the posterior view. She underwent liposuction of the flanks and now she has a better contour of the flanks. We were also able to eliminate the indented rolls that she had above the flank area. This is done as an outpatient procedure.

This is a 45YO lady who was complaining of excessive fullness in her flank area. When she wore clothes, it gave her a boxy appearance toe the upper buttocks and waist area. She underwent liposuction of the flank area. As you can see, the large love handles that she has are now gone and she has a good contour to the flank and upper buttocks area.

This is a 45YO lady from Defuniak Springs, Florida. She is complaining of excessive fat in the flank area with some rolls of fat in the mid-back area. She notes that she has trouble wearing clothes because the rolls show through her clothing.

She underwent liposuction of the lower back and flank area. We were able to eliminate the rolls and sculpture her lower back and flank area. This is a procedure that is done as outpatient procedure at the hospital.

This is a middle aged lady that wished some improvement in her truncal contour, specifically her flanks. In the oblique pre-operative views you can see how the upper aspect of her buttock blends into her flank. This gives a “V” shape of the backside as opposed to the more feminine “S” shape as visualized in her post operative photos. This is especially evident in the oblique pictures. The suctioning of the flanks gave her more definition to the buttocks, narrowed the waist, and gave more definition to the waist. Clothes fit her much better now. Just suctioning alone of the flanks will give the perception of a more projecting buttock. Further shaping of the buttock can also be obtained by using the fat suctioned from the flank and injecting into the buttock. This gives more projection or either a more rounded contour to the buttock.

This is a 30YO from Fort Walton Beach, Florida who desired some contouring of her waist and flank area. She had a previous abdominoplasty by another plastic surgeon. She still had excessive fat in the lateral portion of the abdomen. This is shown on the frontal view and back view. She underwent liposuction of the anterior lateral and posterior lateral abdomen and flank area. As you can tell, she has a much better shape now and does not have the bulging in the flank area. Her clothes fit her much better now. This procedure is done as an outpatient procedure at the hospital.

This is a 50YO lady that is having problems with the excessive fat in her flank area. She is at her ideal bodyweight however she still cannot get rid of the excessive fat in the flanks no matter what she does.

She underwent liposuction of the flanks through outpatient surgery at the hospital. As you can see this greatly improved the contour of the flanks and now she no longer has the excessive, thick fat that she had prior to surgery. These results are long lasting and the fat usually does not come back unless there is a significant weight gain.

This is a 40YO lady that doesn’t have much shape to her waist area. She feels that her pants and dresses do not have any shape because she is so full in the flank area. If you look at her pictures preoperatively, she is straight going from the hip area all the way up to the flank area. Ideally, you have more of an A shape to your body and should be smaller in the flank area and gradually widen as you go to the hip area.

She underwent SAFE liposuction. She now has a much better shape and her clothes fit much better.

This is a 28YO lady from Enterprise, Alabama. She desired some cosmetic improvement of the shape of the legs from the knees down to the ankles. Preoperatively she feels like she has too much fullness in the lower part of the leg below the calves. She doesn’t have any distinct shape to the calves. She feels like the ankle area is quite thick.

She underwent liposuction of the medial and lateral legs. This defines the calf muscles much better and also has removed the fullness in the lower legs. Now she can wear dresses and shorts and be proud of her legs.

This procedure is performed as an outpatient procedure in the hospital. Patients are usually able to return to work in around 3-5 days following the procedure depending on their job duties.

This is a young lady that was interested in some truncal contouring. She has had several pregnancies that have resulted in a stretched out rounded abdomen with loose skin in the lower portion. In addition, she has a lot of fullness across the flanks which have blunted the definition of her buttocks. She wished some definition from the rectus muscles on the anterior abdominal wall. She underwent an abdominoplasty which included some liposuction to recreate the raffia in the midline and the edges of the rectus sheath. This flattened her abdomen and removed the redundant skin. Placing the scar low elevated and triangulated the mons. The suctioned fat from her abdomen and flanks was added across the superior and superior lateral aspects of her buttock to give more projection and a more rounded appearance. Suctioning of the flanks gave better definition of the buttocks. She is shown 2 months after her surgery. She has resumed all activities accept any exercises that would stress the abdominal muscle repair.

This is a 45-year-old gentleman who has been having problems with excessive fat around the waist area. He is very conscious of his body and exercises daily. He has done all the physical training he can to get rid of the excessive fat around the waist and also decrease the girth around his waist area. He came to me to see if we could give him any permanent help. He underwent liposuction with removal of around one pint of fat from each flank area. Also, I removed one quart of fat from his abdominal area. His abdomen is now less protuberant. However, the main improvement is the loss of the love handles. On the posterior view showing his flank area and chest, he has a very nice V-configuration. With his flanks now gone, it accentuates his latissimus dorsi muscle area.

This procedure is done as an outpatient at the hospital. Patients can return to work in around three days.

This is a 32YO lady from Bainbridge, Georgia that desired some cosmetic improvement of her waist and buttocks area. She has a moderate amount of fat in the flank area. She has tried dieting but could not get any significant decrease in the waist circumference. She noticed that her pants seemed to ride high because of the bulging in the love handle area.

She underwent SAFE liposuction of the love handle area and abdomen with fat grafts to the buttocks. As you can see, there is marked improvement in the shape of the waist and buttocks.

Fat grafting is where we remove fat from one area, process it, and inject it into an area that needs some more projection. This helps improve contouring of the body. Usually, about half of the fat will live permanently. The fat does not live is reabsorbed by the body.

This is an 18YO young lady who had problems with her waist area. She was not an overweight girl, but she could not lose weight in the waist area. She had extra fat in the flanks and in the abdomen. She underwent liposuction. She now looks obviously much smoother and shapelier. She can now wear clothes that couldn’t wear in the past.

Liposuction gives a permanent result unlike dieting. She can now wear any type of swimsuit or clothing that she desires to accentuate her waist.

This is a 35YO lady from Destin, FL. She was interested in getting some improvement of the contour in the bra area as well as in her flank area. She had some deep rolls in her back with indentions that she wished improved.

She underwent S.A.F.E. liposuction of the flank and bra area. You can tell that these areas have a much better shape now. We have almost now eliminated the deep creases that she had in her lateral back area.

S.A.F.E. liposuction is a procedure that we do wide loosening of the fat and tissue and removal excessive fat. We seem to get much better contouring with this type of liposuction. Also, it also seems to be much safer than ultrasonic and smart liposuction.
